Trade alerts

How buy, sell and liquidity alerts work, and what each level means.

Alert levels: the bigger the trade, the bigger the alert.

Every swap and every liquidity movement involving XTC or INO on Cronos EVM is published in the 💸 Price and 🌊 LIQ channels, a few moments after its confirmation on-chain.

Anatomy of an alert

The name of each alert summarises the event, so it can be read directly in a notification: for example Xitcoin Trade · BUY $11.88 or Xitcoin Liquidity · INCREASE $13.97.

The alert then presents:

  • an illustration that matches the size of the trade, with the value in US dollars, the quantity of tokens and the time in UTC;
  • the market price of the token;
  • the route or the pool used;
  • the wallet address, shortened.

Why the feed can differ from market sites

Some transactions buy and sell the same token across several pools, for arbitrage or routing. The feed publishes the net result of each transaction, and nothing when that result is negligible. Market sites that list every step separately can therefore show more trades than the Discord feed.
